Click, Flash...
Ugh! I get this once every year -- so sick, I can't function. And lucky me, that time is here right now.
So, I'm sitting in my livingroom, with my laptop on the couch, America's Next Top Model playing in the background (BTW - Tyra gets more and more annoying as the years pass), in my white comfy robe. Lucky me, I have some Miso soup on it's way.
Maybe it's all the meds i'm on, or maybe its that Top Model is making me daydream, but I have been thinking alot lately and I really miss my involvement in photography. I have been photographing for MANY years, and lately I have been caught up in the regular day-to-day grind, that I haven't taken the time out to get any photoshoots together, or just go outside and shoot some images.
I used to carry my camera with me all the time, and take photos of any and everything that I was drawn to. I guess as time goes on, I realize I need to make more of a concious effort to stay connected to the things I love. My boyfriend is a photographer as well (a pretty high demand photographer at that), so you would think it would be easier for me to just join in on his photoshoots, but its not.
It's actually really fun working with him. We both have different strengths and visions and bring different sides to the table - and maybe I will post a video of us shooting one of these days, so you can see how much of a joker he really is.
Anyways, my conclusion to all of this is that my camera will be with me alot more then it currently is. Documenting my days with pictures is an amazing experience, and I can't wait to delve into it again. And maybe i'll get the courage to post it on my little blog.

Lunchin' w/the girls
So sorry I haven't been writing anything. I had the most brutal week at work last week, which really prevented me from doing ANYTHING. I was lucky I got to sleep, and i'm so glad the week is over now.
This weekend is Easter long weekend (Happy Easter everyone)! Yesterday, I met up with my two besties. Laura (my law-studying, supermodel genius friend (in the pic above)) came down to Toronto from Ottawa. Carla (my beautiful, smart, ambitious and next big writer, friend) came down to Toronto from Calgary.
We had lunch on the patio at MBco. which was amazing, and we discussed what we will be doing this summer. Carla stopped into Toronto for a couple of days before she leaves for Rome on Tuesday. We decided that me and Laura are going to meet Carla in Rome to spend a week there, then we will go to Paris for another week. These girls have been my friends since I was 2 years old and my family lived with Laura's family when we first came to Canada from Italy. Some people downplay the need for close friends, but there are only a few people in your life that surpass being friends, to being family - and these girls are that for me. I'm lucky after all of these years, and the fact that we don't even live in the same area's anymore, we can still make the effort to see and talk to one another. I loveeee this girls so much and yesterday was a super treat for me.
PS. See my Balenciaga bag!??!! Sigh!!! I'm in love with it <3 lol

Now, i'm off for a bike ride in this lovely soon-to-be summer weather.
